About us
The Umbra story started in 1979 with the launch of a single window shade
Co-founders Les Mandelbaum and Paul Rowan recognized that there was a need to create modern designs that would be accessible.
Based in Toronto, Canada, Umbra (Latin for “shade”), has become one of the global leaders in product design and currently distributes in over 120 countries across the world with offices in Europe, Canada, the United States, Brazil, and China.
Umbra was born out of passion for original design and the desire to create products for every home. At Umbra, our team of international designers brings thought and creativity into everyday items. Driven by innovation, we pull inspiration from the global marketplace, in order to push boundaries in our approach to original design.
Product Description
Estique Multi Organizer by Umbra features 14 hooks, providing easy access to your belongings. Estique can be either wall-mounted, or hung over a door using over-the-door hooks that are included. In addition to adding a warm touch to Estique’s design, these pegs prevent delicate items from pulling or snagging. Fits up to a 1 1⁄2” (3.9 cm) thick door. Measures 14.25 x 4.25 x 23.75" (36 x 11 x 60 cm). Sourced from renewable wood sources and made with an eco-friendlier finish. It produces 85% less water and solid waste than traditional electroplating finishes. Wood is a unique natural material with variations in tone, texture, and grain.
